As was the case last year, Halloween (or El dia de l0s Muertos, as Manny would call it) was a multi-day event this year. On Friday, Mommy took Callie and I to see daddy and Mimi at work, and to have lunch with Grammy who made my Manny shirt. We met Auntie Jess and the girls there, and put together about the cutest foursome to ever trick-or-treat!
.
Yes - I played Shuffleboard. No - it wasn't at a Senior Center.

I think Callie was scared of the weirdos in costumes...

On Saturday, we loaded up the car, and headed south for some more Halloween fun. After meeting Grandpa, Grandma, Grammy, and Auntie She-She for dinner, we visited a good old fashioned trunk-or-treat. Wait, you've never heard of a trunk-or-treat either? I hadn't before - but it was pretty neat-o. Basically, people organized fun events and were allowing for trick-or-treating in a safe manner - carnival style. It was kind of rainy, and Callie slept through most of it, but I got to play shuffleboard, ringtoss, do a cakewalk, and even play on a REAL firetruck!

After spending Saturday with the Southbound Grandparents, we headed home for a quick nights sleep, and then ventured over the river and through the woods (literally, plus around the lake) to see Mimi and Papa, Auntie Jess and Uncle Josh, and my two princess cousins! I always love Sundays at Mimi and Papa's, cause it means lots of good play time with the girls!
I have to say, I'm a pretty lucky boy. We had a great weekend, and now a quiet night at home to recover. Until next time!

Cool Firetruck! Can I turn on the siren?!
