The Coeur d'Alene Resort and Me!

A wise man once said that "a picture is worth a thousand words". I'm not sure if that number is scientifically accurate, but assuming it is, my pictures below are worth 33,000 words. I apologize now if it breaks anyones computer - sometimes daddy gets a little camera happy.

Mommy, Daddy, and I just got home from our weekend trip to Coeur d'Alene, so while I really just want to relish my freedom from that stupi...I mean SILLY carseat, I'll do my best to capture the weekend for you all! Quite a few of the pictures are from daddy and grandpa's round of golf on Saturday, so I sold daddy some space on my blog for the pictures - what a sucker!

And watching TV

On Friday, daddy picked me up from school early, and took me back to work for a bit to wait for mommy. As soon as she was done, we loaded up my car, and started the trip over the mountains. We made pretty good time, and I got to stay at my Great Papa's house in Ellensburg. We also got to have dinner at my Great Aunt and Uncle's restaurant called Pearl's. I suggest you check it out (Shamless plug).

Daddy and I went for a walk while mommy was in the Spa

Mommy and daddy woke me up pretty early on Saturday, cause we had to drive another 206 miles to get mommy to her spa appointment at the resort by 11 AM. Despite about 797 poopy diapers in that 3 hours on the road, we made it with time to spare, got checked in, and mommy went off to be pampered. While we waited for grandpa and grandma to get there so that daddy and grandpa could golf, daddy and I walked around the resort. Everybody loves me, but I think I get more attention from older ladies than anyone. They love me!

Grandpa and Daddy's caddie - Keith

Grandpa and Grandma got to the resort just in time to catch the 12:00 boat to the golf course for a 1:00 tee time. The resort is actually a few miles from the golf course, so the resort has boat shuttles that take folks back and forth. Daddy said that when they got to the course, they were very impressed with the beauty as well as the welcoming staff there to help with EVERYTHING. I didn't quite understand the joke, but I think that grandpa said something to the effect of "the caddies do just about everything for you, outside of changing your diaper". Don't quote me on that though.

I want to go to the beach too!

Daddy again-- egomaniac I guess

Based on how much they talked when they got back from the golf course, I can only imagine how beautiful it was. Daddy told me that we are for sure going to come back often, and that he can't wait for me to be old enough to play with him. I can't wait either!

The rest of the night was pretty low key. We had a good dinner at a place called Cricket's, although I was only awake for about a half of it. No need to worry, but I didn't feel 100% this weekend. I'm not sure if teething is taking a toll on me, or if I am coming down with something, but it did make the weekend a little tough.

My first boat ride!

I see you!

On Sunday morning, we all got to take the boat to the golf course to have breakfast at the Floating Green restaurant. Everyone said the food was great, and I'd love to agree, but it's hard to get REAL excited about organic applesauce and rice cereal. I did figure out at this meal though that if I throw a toy on the ground, adults will come to my rescue to pick it up. I have them wrapped around my little finger, but shhhhh..don't tell anyone!

They let me drive the boat on the way back!

Can you say "a 3 hour tour"?

After breakfast, the boat driver asked me if I wanted to drive the boat. I guess he must just be a good judge of character, or maybe I just look that awesome! Either way, we snapped a few pic's, but I declined the offer. I know that daddy and Grandpa would've been a bit jealous of my boat driving skills.

The boatride back

Daddy, Mommy, and Cohen

By the time breakfast was over and we were back to the hotel, it was almost noon, so we decided to pack up the car and get ourselves back across the border and into the great state of Washington......and another 375 miles or so once we were across said border. We decided to stop in Ellensburg again because its about halfway and I don't get to see Great Papa and his trusty doggy Mandy enough.

Got the car back from Valet - lets roll!

Stopped at Great Papa's again

Post traveling bath - it was needed!

No cameras please

Night Night time!

Now, I didn't set a timer or anything, but I guarantee that mommy had me in the bathtub no more than 2 minutes after we got home! Apparently I was stinky or something!

Well, I'm off to get some sleep in my big boy bed now. Have a goodnight !
