I'll be right with you - just getting a toy..

Just got home from a weekend trip to the Southbound Grandparent's, or the 4-2-5 as I call it, and while my bed is literally yelling my name, I wanted to throw up a few pictures real quick.
First off, Saturday was mommy and daddy's wedding anniversary, so while we didn't quite get to spend it in Hawaii like we had always hoped, we made due. Daddy and I woke up early (ok, so really not THAT early), and headed out to get mommy some coffee and pastries, flowers, and some other odd's and ends, which was a beautiful set-up for what turned out to be a wonderful day, which was only aided by my Huskies' triumphant return to College Football's Top 25 with a hard fought victory over #USC.

Wearing Daddy's slippers - go dawgs!

After the game, we loaded up the car and headed to Grammy's house, so that we could spend some time with her, and so that mommy and daddy could go out for a bit to celebrate without asking for a table with a highchair and a place for a carseat. I can't speak for Callie just yet, but I personally have tons of fun at Grammy's. First of all, she has two bear-like kitty cats that are confined within the same walls as myself, so kitty-hunting is always fun! Plus, if I manage to break free, there's tons of room for me to run as fast as I can and say things like "I go fa-ast"!

This pretty much sums me up at Grammy's - or anywhere.

I think Callie wonders why we are so weird..

After getting to spend the night at Grammy's, and wake up and chase the kitty's some more, we packed up the 'Hoe (again, that's short for Tahoe, not Ivanhoe) and set course for Grandpa (aampa) and Grandma's house. While I'm always excited to go to their house, this trip was extra fun, because a bunch of daddy's family that I haven't met came over for the afternoon. Granted, the event was mostly a bunch of older folk reminiscing about things that don't make a lot of sense to me yet, but I could tell that everyone there was very happy to see each other, so I think it was probably pretty cool!

Included in the picture below in no particular order is daddy's Aunt Barbara, Aunt Patty, and Uncle Gary, cousins Melissa, Matt, Stafford, Kathy, and Amy, Kathy's husband Gary, Matt's fiance Megan, my Aunt Shanlee (she-she), Uncle Will, Auntie Autumn (Tum-Tum), Auntie Maeggie, Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, Daddy, and...oh yeah, I guess baby Callie too! Whew - that was a mouth full!

What a handsome group!

Well, that's kind of all she wrote for the weekend. For those that were a part of it - I loved seeing you, even if I may have been grumpy or aloof (can a child my age be aloof?). For those of you that I didn't get to see, I miss you, and hope to see you as soon as possible. Heck - lets do lunch tomorrow. Breakfast? Come over now!....too needy? Well, soon then.
