Cleaning out some old pictures!

While it's often the excuse, I really have been pretty busy lately, so I hope no one out there is suffering from blog withdrawl. The summer is inherently a busy time, especially considering the added events in life such as moving our place of residence, getting ready for Callie to come home with us, Mommy changing from a working mommy to an At-Home mommy, plus dealing with me in general.

I have to say though, that life is good. As is the case the rest of the year too, I've got to spend much time with those closest to me, and while some people think we are always busy, I love that I get to see all my grandpas and grandmas and aunties and uncles and cousins so often! On top of that, my baby sister should be here any day now, and in fact, mommy scheduled an induction (whatever the heck that is - I think they just bang pots and pans and try to scare her out of mommy's tummy) for next Wednesday, the 2nd, so if not before then, that will be the day!

Since it's been a while, I'll try to throw up a could of quick posts with some random pictures. Today's selection is largely from our camping trip a few weeks ago. Highlights include swimming in a river that is named after an Icicle (dumb idea), playing with my friend Chip (the chipmunk), playing miniature golf (and dominating) in Leavenworth, and while not a HIGHLIGHT, certainly an interesting moment when mommy and daddy and I found a drunk driver that had hit a tree still in his car and had to get help!

Anyways, here we go!

Greetings from my tent just next to the icicle river. Well, I'm actually sending it from leavenworth because we have no phone service at our campground 14 miles up river, but I am actually putting this together from my tent.

This is my third camping trip up here (the first was in mommys tummy) and I'm enjoying it even more than ever this year.

I will post more pics when I get home but wanted to say hi! gotta go have a s'more now!

Weddings and Pools

Hi everyone! I know it's been a couple weeks since my last update, and you've probably been waiting on some pictures from my trip to California in early July which included Uncle Josh and Auntie Jess' wedding, but I have just been super busy lately. First of all, I helped mommy and daddy move us to a new home last week, and even with all of our super helpful family and friends, it still has taken a lot of time. If you add on the fact that the Earth seems to have caught on fire - I hope you'll excuse the lull.

What's new with Cohen you ask? Well, like I said, I've moved. We're also getting ready to bring Callie home, my vocabulary has increased tenfold, I'm learning to count and I know some colors (mostly "brue"), and I have developed a love for Elmo!

Since it's been a while, I'm mostly just going to chronicle the Phat Phresno weekend (sorry, that's daddy's really lame attempt at alliteration) in pictures. You'll probably quickly pick up on a trend of the weekend - there was a lot of Pool Time!

I know mommy and daddy are cheap - but under the seat?!

Might as well just jump right in, right?

Well, actually...it's kind of deep... Hmm..

There aren't enough words to describe this.

Obviously, another big part of our trip was the fact that Uncle Josh and Auntie Jess chose this time and place to get married. Since Auntie Jess had her Birthday on Sunday, and Uncle Josh on Tuesday, they decided Monday was a good day for a wedding (plus it was the first business day we were down there for them to get a marriage license). Everyone chipped in to get ready, and it was a really fun wedding. As you've probably heard thru his big mouth, daddy actually officiated the wedding, and is considering going into business - more about that later though! The wedding took place in the backyard, and afterwards we had a fun BBQ and of course some pooltime. Some people forgot to take off their wedding clothes though!
