A bunny, baseball player, and a rabbi

Hi everyone! I just got home from taking a good old fashioned after dinner wagon ride with mommy and daddy, and while it's just about time for bed, I needed to blog first. What's the old saying? Bathtime, blogtime, bedtime? ... I don't remember exactly, but either way, I've got lots of pictures from the last couple weeks including a trip to the zoo, Mariner's Opening Day, Easter, the previously posted pictures of my BABY SISTER! plus all my normal shenanigans. Buckle up!

Bring me some peanuts and crackerjacks!

Sometimes I change outfits at sporting events..

Dad! Tell them about my Basketball Hoop!
.
Even though the pictures already spoiled my first story, I'm still super excited about getting to go to the Mariner's game the other day. When I went to school that morning, I assumed I would have to listen to it on the radio like the rest of the working class folk around here, but apparently daddy found some pretty good tickets at the last minute on that list that Craig made, so off we went! I'm not even 2 years old, but I've somehow been to 2 Opening Day's now - you figure out that story problem. The game was super fun, but I've been told that mommy and daddy were EXHAUSTED afterwards - I wonder why?

I'll catch you!

I can dunk on a 3 ft hoop, can YOU?!

A couple weekends ago, my grammy came to visit, and she brought my Auntie Shanlee, my Great Grandma and Grandpa Jerry, and Uncle Gregg with her, all just to see me! We did all kinds of super fabulous shopping together, played on some rides, and what I most vividly remember is our trip to the chocolate store! Just thinking about it needs to make me brush my teeth! After some relaxing, we took our big group to Olive Garden and met up with Mimi and Papa too! I love big groups, but sometimes I don't even know how to behave around so many people that love me!

These people exhaust me - need to sleep with my Pluto

Easter weekend turned out to be super fun too! On friday night, Mommy and Daddy took me down to stay at Grandpa and Grandma's house. I was kind of sad because Auntie Maeggie wasn't home, but Auntie Tum-Tum was, and that was a treat, cause we played, and played, and played some more! I tried to get a goodnight sleep, but I was so excited for the zoo on Saturday that I barely slept a wink (not really). After a good breakfast, some more playtime, and an extra big round of hugs and kisses, we were off to pick up Grammy, and then meet Mimi and Papa, Auntie Jess and Uncle Josh, and Emma and Eden as well as Uncle Dale, Auntie Amy, and Stephen (with a ph) at the zoo!
.

Look mommy! I'm petting this kitty cat!
.

Holy crap! I just petted (or is it pet?) a WHAT?!!
.

Daddy! It's a gorilla with it's baby!

It's too cold for this to be the savannah..

Staring contest ....GO!
.

I'm not falling for the "it's just a kitty cat" trick again!
.
We originally went to the zoo with the intention of participating in the easter egg hunt, but apparently the lure of wild animals got the best of our interests, and we never actually ended up "hunting" for any eggs. We saw Lions, and Tigers, and Bears (oh my!), we saw giraffes, and birds, and snakes, we saw elephants, and lizards, and wild dogs, and SO many other cool animals. I think the zoo has become one of my new favorite places, so if anyone wants a one way ticket to my heart, think "zoo trip"!

I'm riding Dumbo!
.

Stairs? No Way! I did'nt know they had Rides at the Zoo!
(If you can't tell, I LOVE me some stairs!)

I didn't know you get to ride the animals at the Zoo!

This picture might be worth gold for Mimi and Papa
.
Well, you know the old saying that nothing works up a good appetite like the sights, sounds, and smells of the zoo, so we...wait what? You DON'T know that saying? Well, either way, we packed up the proverbial wagon and headed to Buca di Beppo for dinner. I hadn't been there since I was just a little old baby, so I was SUPER excited! GOOD FOOD + GOOD FAMILY = well...lots of things really. We'll go with GOOD TIMES.

Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go!
.

Watching Stephen play his Gameboy - I could so beat that game!
.

yumm! Milkshake or something!

A Large Family Sized entree sounds about right for me and Papa

The aftermath - I was EXHAUSTED
.
Little did I know, that mommy and daddy intentionally wore me out that day, so that I would sleep extra well since the Easter Bunny was suppose to hop on in to my house that night. Sure enough, I woke up to a trail of mini eggs, and a NEAT-O easter basket amongst other things. Most kids might go straight for the basket, but not me. I sat down on the floor at all of 7:30 that morning, and started cleaning up the chocolate eggs...BY MOUTH! The easter bunny is pretty magical, consider he left me FOUR easter baskets, one at home, and one at each of my grandparent's houses! After we got cleaned up, we drove over the river and thru the woods (literally) up to the outskirts of Bellingham for brunch with Mimi and Papa and the cousins (it should be a given by now that when I say "the cousins" that said grouping consists of Auntie Jess, Uncle Josh, Emma, and Eden). After brunch, we went back to Mimi and Papa's house, and I got to play with Emma and Eden lots.
.

Chocolate on the floor? Don't worry - I'm on it!
.

A bunny made of chocolate? WHOA!

I just wanted to show off my jammies with this one

My easter outfit - this is the longest I would standstill
.
Today, daddy put together the tricycle that Grammy got me for my birthday, and I got to ride it around outside. I hate to toot my own horn, but I've already heard comparisons to Lance Armstrong at a young age. Be looking for me at a velodrome near you!
Anyways, it's about time for me to get some shut eye. Sweet dreams everyone, and go Mariners and go Canucks!
.
I'm Lightning McQueen! (it's a Cars tricyle)
.

Gotta stand up for the home stretch!
.
Tune in next time!

It's a girl!

Many of you have probably heard by now, but if you haven't....IT'S A GIRL! That's right, I'm going to have a baby sister, mommy is going to have a daughter, and daddy is going to have to get a gun for the dating years! The pictures we got from the doctor probably say a whole lot more about the news than I can, so I'll just say that mommy and daddy are VERY excited, and I can't wait to meet my little sister!

Be on the lookout for another update in the next day or two, specifically highlighting easter and the Mariners game from yesterday!
