Two Entries in Two Days?!

Chillin with my bunny and my Easter basket from Grammy.

That's right - I promised an Easter edition and mommy and daddy have taught me to always make good on my promises. Tonight's update will be a quick one though, cause it's getting late and I have a big day ahead of me.

We took my Easter Basket to Mimi and Papa's to open..

Mommy and daddy must have told the Easter Hopping Bunny Rabbit just what I like!

We didn't have anything too big planned for Easter, but Mimi and Papa had prepared a nice little spread for us and my Grammy came up to see me too - I love seeing my grandparents! (I didn't get to see Grandma and Grandpa, but I talked to them on the phone and rumor has it they bought me a piano.) Dinner was great as usual, but unfortunately it was cut a bit short. My Great Grandpa doesn't feel very good, so Mimi and Papa got a last-minute flight to go visit him in California. I think I might call my friend Dr. Bischoff - she always makes me feel better when I don't feel good so maybe she can help!

Me and the cousins

After some discussion, Mommy and Auntie Jessica decided that they want to go visit Great Grandpa too, so that means that I'm going for my first airplane ride tomorrow morning AND that I get to meet me Great-Grandpa. I have heard that he is a pretty awesome guy, and has a lot of funny golf stories, so I'm very excited to meet him!

Bunny.....Bunny.....DUCK! Wait - isn't it Duck, Duck, Goose?

Mimi and Papa took my cousin Emma with them tonight, and me and Eden get to go tomorrow morning at the god-awful hour of 5:40 am! I'm glad that I get to go, but I'm really going to miss my daddy. He promised that he wouldn't cry if I don't cry, but I'm not sure that I'm gonna be able to keep my end of the deal. Daddy did make mommy promise to let me use the phone if I wanna call him though!

If Rabbit's feet are lucky, the WHOLE Rabbit must be REALLY lucky!
Alright, I gotta get some sleep cause of my big day tomorrow. I hope everyone had a great Easter Holiday, and please keep my Great Grandpa in your thoughts! Love you all!

Happy Easter Hopping Bunny Rabbit Eve!

Happy Bunny Rabbit Eve! It's been over a week since my last update, but I've been busy. Mommy and daddy have pointed out that that quite a few people follow this part-time literary column that I dabble in during my free-time, so they have encouraged me to improve my timeliness of updates. They also have encouraged me to keep my room clean, and that hasn't gone real well, so I guess we'll see...

Sporting my Rain Boots - Thanks GABBIE (Great Auntie Beth)!

Back when I was just a little tiny baby in mommy's tummy, Auntie Shanlee bought me a toy that I thought was silly at the time, but after testing the ExerSaucer out this week, I think I owe her BIG TIME!

Hmm...not sure about this new toy...

Ahhhh...it feels SOOOO right!

I had my 4 month check-up this week (that's right, ANOTHER birthday this week. *Ahem* Checks can be made to Cohen Chandler White) and my friend Dr. Bischoff told me that my height and weight are beautiful for my age. I am almost 2 feet 3 inches long (look out INBA - Infant Basketball Association) and 17 lbs, 15 oz. That puts me in the 95th percentile for height, and 72nd ish percentile for my weight. NO MORE CHUBBY JOKES!!! Mommy and daddy are hoping to take my size straight to the bank in the form of some sort of Professional Sports signing bonus.

Eating cereal

I want Lucky Charms instead!

This week I got to go see the Easter Hopping Bunny Rabbit with my cousins. I'm really not sure what the big deal is about this thing is, but I hear that I might get presents out of it, so that's cool. I'm still trying to figure out if this bunny guy and Santa Claus work in tandem or are the same person, but mommy and daddy won't give me any answers. They must just think I'm a baby or something!

Got my Easter outfit on

Exhausted from my Easter Hopping Bunny Rabbit adventure!

The rest of the week has been fairly ordinary. Other than getting poked in the leg by the nurse at my friend Dr. Bischoff's office, I would actually rate it a pretty solid week. Mommy did some more planning for our trip to Hawaii in September. I'm really pushing for a luau with a roasted pig, but I'm not sure she see's my vision. I guess creative genius isn't always recognized. I can tell you one thing right now though: I WON'T be scuba diving or surfing! I mean, I'm all about a good time but sharks are nothing to laugh at. SCARY!
I love my Saucer
And how are YOU doing?

Nummmmmy!

Again, checks can be made payable to Cohen Chandler White

As far as "Cohen Teeth Watch: 2008" is coming along, we seem to have some progress, although I'm not always enjoying it. Mommy has taken to calling me her little drool-bot. I don't really get it, but then again, she is silly a lot! I figured out how to get my hand in my mouth pretty easily, and that has really helped out.

Teeth. Teeth. Teeth. Teeth. Teeth. Teeth.

Hoping the Cougs don't make it any farther in the NCAA Tournament!

This evening, we had a little get together with some of the folks from mommy and daddy's childbirth classes. I liked to call it my "Womb Mates Reunion" but no one really laughed at my joke. Whatever - I'm hilarious. There were 4 other kiddos there, and they were all pretty awesome, but I like to think that I was the life of the party. I won't name names, but I think one of the girls liked me....

BABIES!

Mommys and babies - guess which one is mine.

Daddy's and babies - mine is definitely the best!

We TOTALLY had a connection.
Well, I gotta get to bed so this Easter Hopping Bunny Rabbit fellow will bring me some toys or candy or whatever. I'll definitely update tomorrow! In the meantime, go Uncle Tiger, and go anyone that plays WSU in the NCAA Tournament!

Greatest.Blog Entry. EVER!

I'm ashamed of my blogging. I really am. Being 3 months old is tough though. I don't wanna make excuses, but I have a lot going on. After spending long days at school, I come home, and have to make sure mommy and daddy get enough cuddle time with me before I can finally get to bed. It's draining! I certainly find myself some time to sleep here and there though....

What's new in my life? Oh, only about a MILLION THINGS. First off, all of my beloved grandparents have decided they need to travel to far far away places in recent weeks, leaving me all alone. Ok, I still have mommy and daddy, but who are we kidding? We know who REALLY spoils me! Mimi and Papa went on a Cruise, Grammy went to Arizona for some sun, and Grandpa went to Orlando for a nerd contest (More on that later - I'm really proud of him), Grandma went to Las Vegas, and then Mimi left again and went to L.A.! Oh well, I did get my first trip to the airport out of it.
Speaking of airports, I have some life changing news. Mommy and Daddy took me to the renowned Bellingham International Airport last week to pick up Mimi coming back from L.A., but me and daddy had quite a trick up our collective sleeves. To make a long, embarassing story short, my mommy and daddy are getting married! Daddy took me ring shopping and I even got to help him propose. We are all very excited and I get a free trip to Hawaii out of it this fall!
This whole engagement thing is taking up a lot of mommy and daddy's time (especially mommy's), but I am still getting plenty of attention. I'll probably start tanning soon cause I'm getting kinda ghostly and don't wanna burn in the tropical Pacific Sun.

All around, life is good. I get to see my grandparents a lot, and even though NONE of them brought me a Power Wheel from their vacation, I still love them very much. I also am starting to realize that those two other creatures I see often are babies like me, and we get to play sometimes. They still smell like potatoes, and one of them has a ghastly scream, but they are VERY fun.

One question: Who loves American Idol? I DO! I just can't get enough of it. David Archuleta is my boy, even though he had a pretty rough week this week. His rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine" a few weeks ago was just plain magical. Some of the contestants are just weird. I got to play Guitar Hero with my Aunt Maeggie the other day, and daddy kept calling her Danny Noriega, in reference to the recent Idol reject. Not sure I see it, but Maeggie ROCKS the GH!
Mommy and daddy, inspired by the hit NBC show "The Biggest Loser", decided this week to start their own contest. I'm not sure what the stakes are, but daddy is kicking mommy's boo-tay! I'm very happy for them and all, but what I really wanna know is WHERE ARE ALL THE GOODIES AROUND THIS PLACE?! A BOY CAN ONLY HAVE SO MUCH MILK!

Well, I should probably wrap this up. Celebrity Apprentice is coming on and I just can't get enough of the Donald. Omarosa got booted last week and I darn near threw a party in celebration. Instead, I just cuddled with mommy. I'll do my best to keep this silly thing more up to date. I miss you all!
